MIAMI, FLAl, Sept. 17.—(AP)—With
storm warning's displayed along the
east coast of Florida from Jupiter to
Key West, shipping remained In port
tonight awaiting the approaching trop
ical disturbance reported centered
southeast of Nassau,In Bahama waters
and moving north to northwestward.
The center of the disturbance described
by the weather bureau as a "very se
vere storm" was expected to pass Nas
sau early tonight.
The Bahamas government wireless
station, in constant communication
with its various out-lsland stations,
advised the Tropical Radio company
that all boats had heeded warnings to
remain In port.
A survey of navigation 'charts by
mariners Indicated that the lower east
coast of Florida between Palm Beach
and Miami would receive,the onrush

EVANGELIST CONFINED TO ROOM IS NOT ARRESTED
