DETAILED PLANS OE MILLION DOLLAR HOTEL RELEASED
Montgomery’s proposed mil
lion-dollar twelve-story hotel is
now practically assured, it became
known Wednesday with an
nouncertlent by Dr. S. D. Suggs
who, with Walter Shepherd and
associates orj promoting the proj
ect, that plans in detail have been
completed.
Plans for financing the project are
now well under way, It was stated,
and while no Information no to the
date work will begin was divulged, it
was intimated that ground will prob
ably be broken this year. The plans
are in the hands of Frederick Ausfeldt,
Montgomery architect.
The hotel, which la to rise twelve
stories' above the street level, will be
situated on the northwest corner of
Montgomery and Catoma streets, it
wa« said. It will be an Imposing etruc
ture, fitted with all the modern con
veniences and improvements necessary
to make It an establishment of the
first Tank.
